Announcement of European Accelerator Prizes
The EPS-IGA is again sponsoring two European Accelerator Prizes. The awards, with no restriction as to nationality, are for individuals:
in the early part of his or her career, having made a recent significant, original contribution to the field,
for outstanding work in the accelerator field with no age limit.
The deadline for receipt of nominations is 5 December 1997. The recipients will receive a certificate and a cash prize, which will be presented during a public ceremony at EPAC'98. They will also be invited to make an oral presentation of the work which earned them the prize, and to submit their contributions to the Conference Proceedings. Nominations must be made on the special Nomination Form downloaded from WWW or available from Ch. Petit-Jean-Genaz at the EPAC Scientific Secretariat.
