Seminar for Industry:
Industrial Prospects of Future Accelerator Projects
As usual, conference programme will include a seminar organized especially for representatives of industry. At EPAC'98 the seminar will focus on new accelerator projects of interest for industry, with speakers drawn both from industry and from various accelerator laboratories. In order to make the seminar as beneficial as possible for the participants (registered participants and representatives of industry alike), the EPAC organizers have consulted with representatives of industry on the contents of the seminar and about possible speakers. The seminar is scheduled on Wednesday, 24 June during the afternoon.
The tentative programme of presentations is as follows:
- Technology and Commercial Supply of Components for the LHC Project
- Linear Collider Projects and their Possible Impact on Industry
- High Power Accelerators for Waste Transmutation and Energy Conversion - Technologies and the Industrial Viewpoint
- How Can Small and Medium Sized Companies Play a Role in Future Accelerator Projects?
- Synchrotron Radiation Projects of Industrial Interest
