Financial Support for Young Scientists

Some help towards the cost of travel and accommodation will be available for young European graduate students under 30 years of age. Selected candidates will receive a voucher for pre-paid accommodation for 6 nights or a cash equivalent, depending on availability, plus a small amount of pocket money, and travel expenses (second class train or equivalent value) upon presentation of the ticket. The registration fee will be waived and the proceedings (CD-ROM) will be free of charge.

Academy Exchange Programme

As a special feature of EPAC 2000 the Austrian Academy of Sciences offers support within the exchange programme with academies of eastern countries. Candidates eligible for grants should be members of academy institutes and must be nominated by their home academies.
