Seventh European Particle Accelerator Conference (EPAC 2000) |
![]() |
Scientific Programme
The preliminary programme of invited papers has been elaborated by the Scientific Programme Committee (SPC) which received a significant amount of input from the EPAC 2000 Scientific Advisory Board (SAB).
The full programme of invited papers and speakers will be available on the EPAC web site in the autumn.
Call for Papers
Papers from the whole field of accelerators are solicited, including low- and high-energy machines and accelerators for medical and industrial purposes.
The SPC with the assistance of the Organizing Committee (OC) will decide, on the basis of abstracts, which papers are suitable for oral presentation.
The rest of the papers will be presented as posters.
Since no contributions are accepted for publication only, any paper accepted for presentation, which is not presented at the conference, will be excluded from the proceedings.
In order to maintain the high standard of EPAC proceedings and to keep them to a reasonable size, potential authors are reminded that only novel, original work should be submitted. Papers which have been published elsewhere will be rejected.
The OC also invites authors of more than one paper to consider whether these contributions could be combined into a single paper, with due reference to other publications or internal notes.
Abstracts
The deadline for the receipt of abstracts is Friday 7 January 2000.
They must be prepared and classified according to a classification system and submitted using an electronic Abstract Submission Form.
Authors are required to take particular note that the classification they themselves attribute to their contributions will be used to position the contribution within the programme sessions at the conference.
Authors of papers submitted for presentation at the conference will be informed of their acceptance early in March 2000.
All submitted abstracts will be published on WWW before the conference and will be available in the form of the usual Abstracts Brochure upon registration at the conference.
Queries concerning the submission of abstracts should be directed to the Scientific Secretariat, care of the EPAC Executive Secretary. |
