Austropa Interconvention has pre-booked rooms at various hotels in different price categories for conference participants, which will be allocated without a processing fee and on a first come, first served, basis. It is recommended to make hotel reservations as early as possible (the list of categories and prices of hotel accommodation is given below). For your convenience we provide maps of locations of hotels, and underground stations.

Deposits : Your credit card number or a specified hotel deposit is required to secure the room. Upon receipt of your order, including payment, a confirmation and the hotel voucher with name and address of the hotel will be provided. Please present the voucher upon arrival at the hotel. Payment of the balance must be made directly to the hotel prior to checking out. Hotel charges will amount to the number of nights corresponding to this booking.

All hotels are easily reachable by subway and / or tram.

Austropa Interconvention offers you the possibility to book a double room provided you advise the name of your room mate, and the period of your stay is the same. Please note this request on the accommodation form.

DEADLINE FOR HOTEL BOOKINGS : 2 MAY 2000

Requests for changes and cancellations of confirmed rooms must be made in writing to Austropa Interconvention and not to the hotel directly. For cancellations or changes 3 weeks prior to the arrival date a handling fee of ATS 400.- per booking will be charged. A cancellation fee equal to one night's accommodation will be charged for any room cancelled after that date or non-occupation of the room on the booked arrival day.

If the hotel you choose is fully booked, Austropa Interconvention reserves the right to arrange accommodation of a similar standard.

Boarding Houses (1- and 2 stars) are not shown on the hotel map.
Single room rates approx. from ATS 300 to ATS 730, double rooms approx. from ATS 460 to ATS 1000.

Rates are indicated in Austrian Schillings (ATS) per room, per day, including all taxes, service and breakfast (1 EURO = ATS 13.7603)

A double room accommodates 2 persons. Note that sharing a double room (twin bedded) with a colleague staying for the same period can provide for a better standard of accommodation for a lower price per person.
